I was born and raised in a small farming town located in south central Michigan.   I attended college at Western Michigan University where I played college athletics and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1994.  The following year I met George while working along side of him at a Nuclear Power Plant.  It was through our developing friendship that George starting sharing about Jesus and encouraging me to read my Bible that he bought as a gift for me.   One day in Sep. ’95, we were watching a Pastor on television who ended his teaching with the sinners’ prayer.   It was at that time that I received Christ into my heart, and confessed Him as my personal Lord and Savior.

I was born and raised in Southern California.   I was born again while attending Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa in 1990.   Soon after, my job would require traveling the country, working outages at several Nuclear Plants.   In 1992 I took a job in Michigan that would finally get me off the road.   It also however, put me in a wilderness experience searching for a church with balance, and where the whole counsel of God was taught.

We got married in 1997, and continued searching for a church we would call home.

In 2000, we were blessed by being part of the Calvary Chapel church plant in Kalamazoo Michigan.  That first year, Pastor Roger invited Wes Bentley the founder of Far Reaching Ministries to come and share how God was working in Sudan.  It was at that time that we first met with Wes, and the Lord laid on our hearts the importance of supporting this ministry.  Over the past five years, employment would take us from Michigan to Minnesota, then to Alabama, and currently Wisconsin.  In each of these moves we were able to help, serve, and fellowship with the body of Christ at various Calvary Chapels.  We have continued to stay close with Pastor Roger and our brothers and sisters from CC Kalamazoo and have traveled on short term mission trips with them to the Ukraine, Israel, Kenya, and Uganda.

In the summer of 2004, we went on our first mission trip with Far Reaching Ministries to Nairobi, Kenya.  It was during this trip that we learned of an opportunity to serve the Lord, and His servants, through a guesthouse ministry in Uganda.   So in January 2005, we returned to Africa, this time on a vision tour to Kampala, Uganda to see if the Lord was leading us to serve Him in full time ministry.    After much prayer and fasting, the Lord confirmed this calling by giving us both a perfect peace, and the desire to serve the needs of the Church, Missionaries, and Pastors who will be coming to Uganda.   Also, laying on our hearts the “Night Commuters“, and the Ugandan people.
